Production of asphalt concrete
SIA "VIA" owns two asphalt concrete production plants located in Aizkraukle and Ugale (Ventspils Municipality). Both production plants are certified and produce quality asphalt concrete of all types.
Production processes follow a strictly controlled process of quality control and material conformity. The production plants are equipped with dosage and temperature controls, which allow the production operator to make adjustments during production if necessary. We are experienced asphalt concrete producers, in production since 1994. We have been highly appreciated by our loyal customers and business partners.
The operation of our asphalt concrete plants is based on the professional and honest attitude of our employees towards the tasks to be performed, planning of works, cooperation with the customer and the supplier, which results in the quality and long-term results of the works carried out following the building standards.
UGALE asphalt concrete plant
The Ugale asphalt concrete plant is located in Celdari, Ugale Parish, Ventspils Municipality. The asphalt production plant WKC 110-C-4t manufactured by the German company WIBAU in 1994 is used. The plant has a production capacity of 110 tonnes per hour. The plant is equipped with two finished product storage bunkers with a maximum total capacity of 100 tonnes
The plant is equipped with a cellulose dosing plant for crushed mastic asphalt and a liquid additive dispenser to improve the adhesive properties of asphalt concrete and to improve asphalt concrete placement in cold weather.

Asfaltbetona ražotne "AIZKRAUKLE"
The Aizkraukle asphalt-concrete plant is located in Aizkraukle, at 20 c Jaunceltne Street. The asphalt is produced using a Euro Mea 160 Quick machine manufactured by the German company AMMANN in 1996. The plant has a production capacity of 160 tonnes per hour. The plant is equipped with three finished product storage bunkers with a maximum total capacity of 200 tonnes.
In 2012, the plant was modernized and the AS1 system was installed. Production is fully automated and continuous. The plant is manned by a competent team and the control system is computerized and controlled by an operator.
The plant is equipped with an automatic pellet dispenser for dosing cellulose for chip mastic asphalt and a liquid additive dispenser for improving the adhesive properties of asphalt concrete and for improving asphalt concrete placement in cold weather.
