To maintain competitiveness, enable the production of asphalt concrete containing up to 30% recycled (old) asphalt, and to digitalize the asphalt production process by integrating it with real-time data from road construction (asphalting) sites, the shareholders of the company have decided to implement an investment project by installing a new electronically controlled asphalt production plant at the company’s “Ugāle” facility.

The implementation of this project will significantly modernize SIA VIA’s asphalt production process through the introduction of digitalization solutions. This will allow the company to increase production efficiency and capacity while expanding its product range with recycled asphalt mixtures — promoting sustainable and competitive production.

The project is being implemented within the framework of AS “Development Finance Institution Altum” program “Atbalsts uzņēmumu digitalizācijai”.
